Galah (Eolophurs roseicapilla)
Common names: Rose-breasted Cockatoo, Galah Cockatoo, Roseate Cockatoo, Pink or Grey.
The Galah is one of the most common Cockatoo species that is found widely across Australia. Galah usually grow to around 35cm long with a weight of 270-350g.
They have a pale silver to to grey back, pink face and chest, with a slight paler pink head crest. Both genders are similar in coloration, but one way to tell them apart is the male has a dark brown irises (pigment of the eye colour).
